Coastal Alabama Community College has adequate faculty resources to ensure the quality and integrity of its academic programs. Division Chairs work within their respective divisions to provide a workload rotation of face-to-face and distance education courses. Distance education courses and traditional courses have the same semester credit hours and are counted equally when determining instructors’ workloads.
Coastal Alabama Community College evaluates faculty teaching distance education courses and traditional courses based on the same evaluation procedures and criteria.
Faculty who teach distance education programs and courses receive appropriate ongoing training on the learning management system, affiliated technologies, and instructional and pedagogical strategies.
