General Studies - Surveying and Geomatics Pathway

Length: Four Semesters

The Surveying and Geomatics pathway is designed for persons who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a Baccalaureate degree in the field of surveying and geomatics.  Troy University is the only four-year institution in Alabama offering this program.  

NOTES

* For the General Elective in Semester 4, refer to Coastal Alabama Community College General Electives list for a course not already taken.

* Placement in MTH125 is based on test scores. See your advisor to determine which math class you need to take. If you did not place into MTH125, ask your advisor to help you develop a modified academic map.

* Placement in ENG101 is based on test scores. See your advisor to determine which English you need to take. If you did not place into ENG101, ask your advisor help you develop a modified academic map.

*The ACCS prerequisite for MTH237 is MTH126.  Troy University does not require MTH126 as a prerequisite for MTH237.  Therefore, students seeking to register for MTH237 following MTH126 must make requests for overrides to instructionalservices@coastalalabama.edu.
